Welcome to HerStack. By using this site you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We have kept these terms short and in plain English. Where something matters — particularly the section on medical advice — we have flagged it clearly.

1. About HerStack

HerStack is an editorial website covering perimenopause, menopause and women's longevity. The site is owned and operated by Suggestic Inc, a company incorporated in the United States.

HerStack is information, not a product. We do not run a shop, we do not run accounts, and we do not provide a service to you beyond making our articles freely available to read.

2. HerStack is not medical advice

Articles on HerStack discuss perimenopause, menopause, hormone therapy, supplements and related topics in general, editorial terms — drawing on published evidence and the Solgar UK product range. They are not tailored to your particular health, history, medication list or circumstances.

Before you start, stop or change any treatment, medication or supplement — including anything mentioned on HerStack — speak to a qualified GP, pharmacist, registered dietitian, menopause specialist, or other appropriately qualified health professional. This is especially important if you:

We do our best to publish accurate, evidence-based content and to update it when the evidence changes. But we make no warranty that the content is complete, current, error-free, or appropriate for your individual circumstances. You use the information on HerStack at your own discretion and risk.

3. Affiliate links and how we make money

HerStack is funded in part by affiliate links. Where you see a product link in an article, that link will usually take you to Amazon.co.uk and may include an Amazon Associates affiliate tag. If you buy something after clicking, Amazon may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is not affected.

We disclose this for two reasons. First, transparency is required by the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the CAP Code, and by the FTC equivalents elsewhere. Second, we think you have a right to know.

A few things to be clear about:

• We choose products on editorial grounds — the evidence base, the Solgar UK product list, the relevance to the topic — not on commission.
• We are not paid by Solgar, by Amazon, or by any other brand to write what we write.
• An affiliate link is not an endorsement of every claim a manufacturer makes about a product. Always read the product label.
• We are not responsible for what happens on Amazon.co.uk, or for the accuracy of Amazon's product listings, prices, availability, or fulfilment. Once you click out, Amazon's own terms and privacy policy apply.

4. Intellectual property

The HerStack name, the editorial articles, the design and layout, and any photographs or illustrations created for the site, are owned by Suggestic Inc or licensed to us. They are protected by copyright, database rights, and trade mark law in the UK, the US, and elsewhere.

You may:

• read HerStack articles,
• share a link to a HerStack article on social media or in private correspondence,
• quote a short passage with a clear credit and a link back, in line with the UK fair-dealing exceptions for criticism, review, quotation and news reporting.

You may not:

• copy, republish, or distribute substantial parts of HerStack content,
• scrape the site systematically, including for the purpose of training machine-learning models, except where the law expressly permits,
• pass HerStack content off as your own,
• use the HerStack name, logo, or any of our marks in a way that suggests endorsement we have not given.

Brand names mentioned on HerStack — including Solgar, the names of pharmaceutical products, and other third-party trade marks — belong to their respective owners. We use them descriptively and editorially. Mention is not endorsement by those owners, and is not endorsement by us beyond what we say in the relevant article.

5. External links

HerStack links to external sites — including Amazon.co.uk for products, peer-reviewed studies for citations, and authoritative bodies (NHS, NICE, the British Menopause Society, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and similar) for further reading.

We have no control over those sites and we do not warrant their content, accuracy, or availability. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the linked page.

6. No warranty

HerStack is provided "as is". We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any decisions you make about your health or treatment based on HerStack content. Those decisions are yours, in consultation with your own clinician.
• We are not liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of HerStack.
• We are not liable for the acts or omissions of third parties — including Amazon.co.uk, Solgar UK, supplement manufacturers, or any other site we link to.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you are using HerStack as a consumer in the UK, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.

8. Changes to the site and to these terms

We may change, add to, or remove HerStack content at any time without notice. We may update these terms when the site, our practices, or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted alongside the date.

Continued use of HerStack after we update the terms means you accept the updated version.

9. Privacy and cookies

How we handle data is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. Please read those alongside these terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or HerStack's content will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — except that, if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts as your statutory rights allow.

Suggestic Inc is incorporated in the United States. By choosing English law, we are not asking you to give up the consumer protections you would have under your local law. Where mandatory consumer protections apply in your home jurisdiction, those still apply.
