3-day vegetarian meal plan for women in postmenopause

Three days of breakfast, lunch and dinner for women after the menopause who eat a vegetarian diet. Every recipe comes from Suggestic's recipe library, written in UK measures, with allergens listed for each one.

  • 90g broccoli florets

Optional supplement: Solgar Chelated Magnesium Tablets

Magnesium contributes to normal psychological function and to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Food supplement, tablets. 100 mg magnesium per tablet; the label's daily dose of four tablets gives 400 mg (107% NRV). As a food supplement for adults, the label directs four tablets daily, preferably at mealtimes. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Magnesium can reduce the absorption of some antibiotics and oral bisphosphonates: ask your pharmacist how far apart to take your medicines and this supplement, as a two-hour gap is not enough for every medicine. Speak to your GP before taking magnesium if you have kidney disease. Magnesium supplements can cause diarrhoea. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of young children.
